WHAT IS A NORWALK JUICER? Drinking juices can have a significant positive impact on your health. Norwalk juicers can be used for making juices out of all kinds of raw produce. Since it was designed for juicing organic products, the effectiveness of extraction is a plus when it comes to more expensive fruits and vegetables. Drinking juice as part of your daily routine requires extracting the juice of leafy greens. This machine extracts juice that is usually harder to extract from these types of vegetables. WHAT IS A COLD PRESS JUICER? Norwalk juicers belong to a category of juicers called cold press juicers. You may have also heard of centrifugal juicers, and there are some major differences between the two, which may help you decide to select a Norwalk cold press juicer over a centrifugal juicer. Here are some of the benefits of using a cold press juicer over other juicer types. Cold press juicers extract pulp, so if you don't like pulp in your juice, you're in luck. The juice that comes out of a cold press juicer is smooth and without pieces of sticky or clumpy pulp, whereas centrifugal juicers do not remove pulp. You'll receive more of your produce's essential vitamins and minerals using a cold press juicer. Your glass of juice won't come out looking like it has different layers; a cold press juicer fully and quickly blends your juice so your drink is properly combined and there aren't different layers sitting atop each other that are awkward to drink or give the juice an odd texture; a centrifugal juicer will leave behind more water in your juice which could immediately cause the juice to separate into layers. HOW DOES A HYDRAULIC PRESS WORK? A hydraulic press uses pressure to squeeze the water from raw products. It first uses trituration to break down the fibers in the produce. The paste created from the produce is temporarily stored into reusable filter bags or bowls with fine cloths. A thin cloth is used to filter out the fiber. The press then takes out the fiber into a separate container and leaves only the end product. This type of press is made to preserve more minerals and vitamins from the produce. HOW DO YOU CLEAN THE JUICER?
